THE 10 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS TO ASK WHEN BOOKING A BAND
FOR YOUR INTERNATIONAL EVENT IN 2015

Based in the UK, we are highly experienced in performing at stunning events across the globe.
Popular within the EU in locations including France, Germany and Italy… We have also enjoyed a number of successful trips to the UAE and India…

1. HOW LONG SHOULD THE DURATION OF MY BANDS TRIP BE?

Booking an international party band to perform at your event can be confusing. We know, if you book the right band, it will be incredibly exciting. To make sure you get the most from your investment, you need your band to give the best possible performance. As general rule, any short haul trip (up to 3 hours flight) will take two days; medium haul (4-6 hours) will take three days and long haul (7+ Hours) will take 4 days. Long haul journeys should include a rest day for the band / crew to acclimatise and recover from the flight.

2. SHOULD I ORGANISE A CHAPERONE TO LOOK AFTER MY BAND DURING THEIR STAY?

No two international events are ever the same. The easiest way to guarantee things run smoothly, especially non English speaking countries, is to supply the band with a chaperone or guide. Having someone who can meet your band at the airport, who understands the event and has knowledge of the local culture will ensure stress levels are kept to a minimum and everything goes without a hitch.

3. WILL MY BAND HAVE A DETAILED LIST OF EQUIPMENT THEY NEED SUPPLIED?

In most cases virtually all equipment needs to be hired locally, having a detailed list (technical rider) is essential. This will specify every piece of equipment required and its position on the stage. A local PA company should then be able to communicate with your band effectively before the event. You will be safe in the knowledge that your band will have everything they need to give you a fantastic performance, well in advance of your event.

4. WHAT EXPENSES SHOULD I EXPECT TO COVER?

Expect to cover expenses from when your band arrives at the UK airport until they return. Typical expenses include flights, hotels, PA (sound system), lighting, instrument hire, food, visas / work permits and all transfers / taxis.
