Personally I’d like to see Usain Bolt and his cronies running 100 meters while singing ‘Take My Breath Away’ by Berlin.

Another image I’d like to see come real is Boris Johnson singing the classic Blur track ‘Common People’ in a park after dark. What’s the closing ceremony going to be like? Danny Boyle is in charge so will it kick off  ’28 Minutes Later’ with a parade of national zombies? Alas I think not, still we can all fantasize.

Summer Party Reason

What’s your reason for a party this summer? Whatever the reason for a celebration it would, seriously, for once, be great to segue into some Britpop wouldn’t it? Blur’s ‘No Distance Left to Run.’ I’ll stop with the Olympic/sport pun on music titles thing now…
