Are you looking to book a wedding band? If so, the summer 2013 wedding season is full swing here at Metropolis Productions. Here is a brief round up of the last three couples we’ve performed for – From reading this, I’m sure you’ll agree every celebration is unique and no two are ever the same!
Niccy & Rob– Gibson Hall, London
Set in a beautiful old banking hall in the city of London this was a fantastic Jewish Simcha. It featured the Metropolis 10 piece party band, with 4 singers complete with traditional Israeli dancing. Metropolis Unplugged took care of background music during dinner and had a packed dance floor at 8pm! Working closely with Jemma at the Perfect Wedding Company this really was a great night.
Vicky & Jon – Wrest Park, Silso
From central London to Wrest Park in Bedforshire, this was marque wedding in the grounds of a stunning English Heritage site. With a strong Italian contingent this was always set to be quite party. Fantasitc hospitality and amazing catering was executed with military precision by Stones Events. You meet some characters in this business…‘Uncle Tony’ is one we’re certainly never going to forget!
Lisa & Alan – Bromley, London.
With the Groom from the UK and the Bride from St Lucia we new it would be a night to remember. Not one band but two! Alan, keen to bring a touch of the Caribbean sun to their special day chose Rats In The Attic, one of Birmingham’s finest UB40 tributes to start the evening with a touch of reggae. Special mention to Jason & Christina at Booklive.co.uk for pulling the whole night together.
The wedding season is far from over – Metropolis will be returning to New Delhi next month to perform at the end of a five day Indian wedding.. Needless to say there maybe a blog post or two about that! Why not also follow us on Twitter?
All the best
